He was predeceased by: his parents, Ed Hale and Ruth Hale; his wife Dottie; his son-in-law Tom Finn; his grandson Derek Ziebart; and his siblings, Harry, Don, Lawrence, Irma, Irene and Norene.
He is survived by: his children, Larry Hale (Margaret), Joan Finn (Tom), Craig Hale (Terri) and Amy Nemitz (Terry); his grandchildren, Melissa Thigpen (Chris), Jason Hale (Kristi), Sean Finn, Tommy Finn, Ashley Hale, Philip Bridges, Dillon Bridges, Katlyn Richter (Al) and Elle Nemitz (Grant Sherman); his great grandchildren, Coston Thigpen (Lydia), Andrew Thigpen, Jase Thigpen, Avery Hale and Emma Hesse; and his great great grandchild Caelan Anderson.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests any donations be made payable to the American Legion or VFW in Maurice's name.
