It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Mary H. Parsley of Brookings, South Dakota, born in Elkton, South Dakota, who passed away on July 17, 2020, at the age of 97, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her husband Ralph Parsley; her siblings, Isabel, Jeanne, Patricia, John, Edward and Jerome; and her sons-in-law, Jim Lamberty and Jud Foster.
She is survived by: her children, Susan Foster of Madison, SD, Stephena Kallemeyn (Earl) of Carroll, IA, Sheila Christensen (Chris) of Wessington Springs, SD, Scott (Val) of Madison, SD, Steven of Central City, SD, Stacia (Mike) of Sturgis, SD, Sharon Matus (Tom) of Temecula, CA and Shawn Switzenberg (Dave) of Maui, HI; her grandchildren, Cindy Lamberty, Michelle Lamberty, Jeff Lamberty (Kristin), Dan Foster (Kathryn), Sara Fink (Troy), Joe Kallemeyn (Lisa), Bill Kallemeyn (Kristy), Bryan Christensen (Lynnette), Amy Christensen (Alex), Nick Parsley, Caitlin Parsley, Chrissy Parsley, Laura Matus (Tracy Jones) and Tommy Matus (Lindsay); her great grandchildren, Maura, Spencer Lamberty, Hunter, Sawyer Foster, Kyndall Moore (Taylor), Conner, Coby Fink, Dylan, Alex, Gwen Kallemeyn, Makenna Doht, Presley Kallemeyn, Cody, Marshall, Luke Christensen, Collin, Garett Anson, Archer Hart and Makena Jo Matus; her great great grandchildren, Kiara and Bailey Christensen; her brothers, Michael and Philip Sutton; and her sister-in-law Francie Parsley. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers the family requests memorials be directed to the Brookings Area Habitat for Humanity or the Brookings Area Food Pantry.
