Laura Jayne Shumaker Obituary

We are sad to announce that on May 23, 2022, Laura Jayne Shumaker of Brookings, South Dakota passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her grandparents, Robert and Dorothy Adams. She is survived by: her parents, Larry Dreesman of Sioux Falls and Barbara Adams of Brookings; her husband Allan Shumaker of Brookings; her children, Nicholas Shumaker (Kayla) of Brookings, Amanda Shumaker of Brookings and Emily Shumaker-Smith (Cory Smith) of Lake Benton; her brother Kevin Dreesman of Lake Madison; and her granddaughters, Olivia, Nora and Greta Shumaker.

In lieu of flowers, the Shumaker family prefers memorial donations be made to the Brookings Regional Humane Society in Laura's memory.
