She was predeceased by: her parents, Allen A. Schutjer and Georgia E. Schutjer (Smidt); her sister Beverly Aho; and her brother-in-law Eldon Aho. She is survived by: her brother Gary Schutjer of Brookings. She is also survived by her cousins and her numerous nieces and nephews and great and great-great nieces and nephews.
