He was predeceased by: his parents, Harry Gibbons and Beatrice Gibbons; and his brothers, Harold, Robert (Bob) and Fred.
He is survived by: his wife Shirley; his son William (Jeanette); his grandchildren, Dustin (Lisa), Jaimie and Spencer of Brookings; his daughter Kimberly (Mark Elder); his grandchildren, Gib and Lizzy of Rapid City; and his great grandchildren, Hayden and Jayda Gibbons. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
