She was predeceased by: her parents, Leendert VanderBerg and Jenny VanderBerg; and her husband Stanley Nelson. She is survived by: her sisters, Betty Lamp and Ruby Lindeman; and her sons, Darryl Nelson Brookings and Kyle. She is also survived by three grandchildren and one great grandchild.
