It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Bertram Getzug of Brookings, South Dakota, born in Saint Paul, Minnesota, who passed away on October 10, 2021, at the age of 91, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Getzug and Anna Getzug (Hope); and his sister Alice. He is survived by: his wife Gloria A. Rottum of Hendricks, MN.; his daughter Diane Ruth Thieman (Jere); and his siblings, Joel L. Getzug of Navarre, FL, David J. Getzug of Houston, TX, BethAnne M. Bennett of Omaha, NE and Ethel D. Smith of St. Paul, MN.. He is also survived by six grandchildren; six great-grandchildren.
