He was predeceased by: his parents, Oscar Lunden and Grace Lunden (Berg); his daughter Cynthia Silva; his great grandchild Elaine Elizabeth; and his brothers, Robert and Richard Lunden.
He is survived by: his wife Alice Lunden of Brookings, SD; his daughters, Linda McGlothlen (Dan) of Box Elder, SD and Catherine Miller of Brookings, SD; his son-in-law Greg Silva of Brookings, SD; and his siblings-in-law, John Stern of Brookings, SD and Irene Lunden of Maple Lake, MN. He is also survived by seven grandchildren; 15 great grandchildren.
