It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Allene Rae Luke of Brookings, South Dakota, born in Miller, South Dakota, who passed away on July 2, 2020, at the age of 93, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, William Flint and Mattie Flint (Danburg); her husband Lawrence Luke; her siblings, Louis Flint, Naomi Lovelace (Dot), Margaret Jones and Lucille Howard; and her nieces and nephews, William Howard, Jon Luke, Joanne Snyder and Kristi Luke.
She is survived by: her sister Dot; her sons, Monte Luke of Rochester, Lyndon Luke (Tami) of Rochester and Brian Luke of Boston, Massachusetts; her granddaughters, Camille Bruns (Ryan) of Rochester, Jamie Luke of Rochester and Mallory Luke of Rochester; her great grandchildren, Ally, Kennedy and Bennett; her stepgrandchildren, Cody Noble and Carissa Bublitz (Eliot); her stepgreat-granddaughter Olivia; and her brother-in-law Duane Luke of Wayzata, Minnesota.
Due to the ongoing pandemic, private services are planned for Allene Luke.
