She was predeceased by: her parents, Roger P. Adams of Clay Center and Lorraine A. Lensink of Cedar Grove, Wisconsin.; and her sister Ellen Adams. She is survived by: her spouse Gray Tappan; her children, Taylor Tappan (Silvia), Erin Smail (Jonathan) and Bryce Tappan; and her siblings, Bruce Adams (Donna), Scott Adams (Diana), Keith Adams (Linda) and Rebecca Adams.
