She was predeceased by: her parents, Conrad Ofstad and Berdice Ofstad (Siljenberg); and her brothers, Clayton Ofstad and DeLayne Ofstad. She is survived by: her husband Melvin E. Gabel of Beresford, SD; her children, Kyle Gabel (Glenda) of McKinleyville, CA, Kelvin Gabel (Ha), Lori Thompson (Bill Shuba) of Cape Coral, FL and Karin Burdick (Guy); her grandchildren, Leslie, John, Lindsey, Kristy, Nik and Nash; her great grandchildren, Adeline and Eleanor; her siblings, JoBelle Ofstad of Fresno, CA, Clarice Ofstad of Fresno, CA and Claude Ofstad of Fresno, CA; and her sister-in-law Dessa Ofstad of Kirksville, MO..
