He is survived by: his wife Eleanor Akland of Beresford; his children, Donald Akland (Heather) of Silverdale, WA and Marcia Matson of Yankton; his daughter-in-law Marlene Akland of Beresford; his granddaughters, Marilee Jones (Justin) of Bellevue, NE, Kayla Collins (Josh) of Sioux Falls and Jessica Akland of Sioux Falls; his great grandchildren, Caleb, Nora Jones and Reagan Collins; his brother Leonard Akland of St. Peter, MN.; and his son Daryl Akland.
