She was predeceased by: her parents, Chris and Millie Christiansen (Miller); her son Robert D. Carlson; and her siblings, Wes, Everett, Lavern and Lois Jean.
She is survived by: her husband Robert F. Carlson; her children, Fred Carlson (Debbie) of McCook Lake and Lorna Smith (Chris) of Sioux City; her grandchildren, Steve, Brittney, Lissa, Jason, Brandon, Clint and Sara; and her sister-in-law Colleen Christiansen of Sioux City. She is also survived by five great grandchildren; two great-great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.
