He is survived by: his parent Kathryn Williams Burns; his wife Mary Sue Burns; his daughters, Debbie Boland (Frank) and Doris Jean Harris (Bret); and his brother Tom Burns (Jane). He is also survived by four granddaughters, and four great-granddaughters.
