She was predeceased by: her parents, Walter Smarr and Ella Nichols Smarr; her son John Alexander Smarr; and her siblings, James Smarr, Mildred Curry, Jettie Lou Curry, Ozella Gilmore, Ozafee Smarr, Virleen Littlejohn and Walter.
She is survived by: her daughters, Debra Alexander of Charlotte, NC, Phyllis Worthy (Randy) of Charlotte, NC and Ella Smith of Miami, FL; her niece Cozetta Smarr; her nephews, Otis Littlejohn and Marvin Smarr; and also Sabrina Kennedy. She is also survived by grandchildren; 21 great-grandchildren and three great great-grandchildren.
Marie Smarr, a humble and dedicated servant of God departed this earthy life, on Tuesday, February 2nd, peacefully at the home of her daughter, Debra Alexander, after a courageous battle with Alzheimer's Disease.
