She was predeceased by: her parents, Robert Odell and Helen Thomas Bankhead; and her siblings, Robert Faye Bankhead, Gettys Bankhead, Rev. Arthur Bankhead, Mary Ann McKinney and Jean Bankhead Taylor.
She is survived by: her siblings, Sarah Dennis of Baltimore, MD, Barbara Simplice of Silver Spring, MD and Porter Lee Bankhead of Washington, DC; and her sister-in-law Florence R. Bankhead. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
