He was predeceased by: his father Harry Brodmerkel; his daughter Karen Lynn Brodmerkel; his granddaughter Sarah Amelia Brodmerkel; and his sisters, Florence Elizabeth Davis and Anna Mae Brodmerkel.
He is survived by: his wife Brenda Griffin Price Brodmerkel of York, SC; his children, Janet Kay Buchanan of Stanley, NC, James Scott Brodmerkel (Jan) of Burgaw, NC and Jeffrey Todd Brodmerkel of Fort Mill, SC; his grandchildren, Anna Elizabeth McQuarrie (Frank), Nathan Franklin Buchanan and Carter Edward Buchanan; his stepchildren, Kenda Cook (Tommy), Stephen Price (Lynn) and Kelly Bowers (Pete); and the mother of his children Barbara Jean Brodmerkel (Jeff Bruce). He is also survived by his seven step grandchildren, his six step great-grandchildren.
