He is survived by: his wife Kathleen Brimley Sawyer; his sons, Jason Sawyer (Carrie Haynes) of Alexandria, VA and Garth Sawyer of York, SC; his sister Kay Ely (Gene) of Deep River, CT; and his grandchildren, Gabrielle Sawyer, Adin Sawyer, Isla Sawyer, Jessica McMorrow and Samantha Sawyer.
