She was predeceased by: her son Gregory Matthew Cogan; and her parents, Robert A. Steinhaus and Ruth A. Kinsella Steinhaus. She is survived by: her husband James P. Cogan, Sr.; her son James P. Cogan, Jr.; her daughter-in-law Tracy of Naples, FL; her daughter Tami Mattison of New York, NY; her siblings, William R. Steinhaus (Susie) of Pleasant Valley, NY, Virginia E. Larkin (James) of York, SC and Kathryn J. Sammons (Frank) of Magnolia, TX; her grandchildren, Gregory A. Cogan (Tim), Ashley R. Cogan-Torres (Eddie), Brittany M. Cogan, Madison G. VanHouten, Robert T. VanHouten and Kindel G. VanHouten; and her great grandchild Lucien James Torres. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
