It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Mary Sawyer Ridgeway (Woodruff, South Carolina), born in Spartanburg, South Carolina, who passed away on May 22, 2019, at the age of 86, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Roscoe Sawyer and Cornelia Turner Sawyer. She is survived by: her husband Proctor "Pete" Ridgeway Jr.; her children, Dawn Hutchins Richard (Tom) of Spartanburg, SC, Tim Ridgeway (Patty) of Spartanburg, SC and Raymond P. Ridgeway (Kim) of Lyman, SC; and her sister Peggy Coleman of Spartanburg, SC.. She is also survived by 7 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; 1 great-great-grandchild.
