He was predeceased by: his parents, Frederick Dureski and Kay Poore Purkhiser. He is survived by: his children, Connie Pittman of Spartanburg, Sherry Westmoreland of Woodruff, Larry Purkhiser of Woodruff and Tommy Purkhiser of Woodruff. He is also survived by 8 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.
