He was predeceased by: his parents, Grady Furman Towery and Gladys Coates Towery; and his brother Bobby Towery. He is survived by: his wife Ann Lowe Towery; his sons, Russell Coates Towery (Tena Tillotson) of Boiling Springs, SC and David Scott Towery (Elizabeth) of Greenville, SC; his brother Gary Towery (Dottie) of Woodruff, SC; and his grandchildren, Savanah Ella Towery Shelton and Cooper Lowe Towery. He is also survived by nieces and nephews and their dear children.
