He was predeceased by: his parents, Belton Peace and Kathryn Wilson Peace. He is survived by: his wife Ginger McAbee Peace; his children, Rikki Peace Brown (Courtney) of Easley, Gerri Peace Benfield (Eric) of Easley and Dock Joseph Peace (Rebecca) of Woodruff; his sisters, Billie Knighton of Woodruff and Jean Craig of Woodruff; his grandchildren, Gunnar Brown, Hunter Peace, Hannah Joe Peace, Peyton Brown, Jenna Peace and Trey Taylor; his stepgranddaughters, Jessica Gary and Savannah Benfield; and his great grandchild Harlow Gary.
