He is survived by: his wife Kathleen Sprague; his children, Terry Sprague and Mary Sprague; his sisters, Jo McCoy, Shirley Smets (Bill) and Janet Larsen; his grandchildren, Eric Sprague (Lesley), Emily Miller (Jake), Jennifer Mullins (Derek) and Jade Van DeBogart (Jeremy); his stepgrandchildren, Makayla Tucker, Erica Robertson (John) and Drew Sayer (Whitney); his great grandchildren, Callie, Jessica Sprague, Jaxon, Sam Miller, Colin, Elle Mullins, Haruki and Quynhnhi Van DeBogart; his stepgreat-grandchildren, Elizabeth, Isabelle, Elijah, Iris Robertson, Francis and Wren Sawyer; and his daughters-in-law, Rose Sprague, Deb Readshaw, Sandy Franzen, Brenda Solomon and Trisha Sprague.
