He was predeceased by: his parents, William Pat and Estelle Jane Pearson Westmoreland; his son John William Westmoreland; and his brothers, Dr. Thomas Wade Westmoreland and Robert Pat Westmoreland.
He is survived by: his wife Julie Greene Westmoreland; his son Jimmy Westmoreland (Debbie) of Woodruff; his daughter-in-law Jeannie Westmoreland of Woodruff; and his sisters-in-law, Dianne Westmoreland of Spartanburg and Jan Westmoreland of Woodruff. He is also survived by 3 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren.
