She was predeceased by: her parents, Rison Brooker Mundy and Lula Mae Cain Mundy; her husband Herbert Edward Yon; her son Robert Edward "Bobby" Yon; her grandson Chad Zissette; and her siblings, Louise M. "Lucy" Redd, Nellie Cotney, Ida Mae Widener, Eloise Bryant, Elizabeth Williams, Joyce Swicegood, Laurence Mundy and Jerry Mundy.
She is survived by: her daughter Patricia "Pat" Zissette (Charles) of Barnwell; her daughter-in-law Elizabeth "Bonnie" Yon of Williston; her grandchildren, Kristal "Krissie" Smith (Eric), Stephanie Hensley (Jason) and Carrie Z. Still (Josh); and her great grandchildren, Kade Hensley and Ansley Smith. She is also survived by nieces, nephews and cousins.
