He was predeceased by: his parents, William Dophus and Edna Belle Christopher Waters; his son Nathan Powell; and his great grandchild Joseph Foster. He is survived by: his daughters, Regena Wilson (Tim) of Belton and Jeanette Carver (Doug) of Williamston; his grandchildren, Cala Cater (Zane), Corey Wilson, Cameron Wilson, Carissa Wilson, Douglas Carver, Marlana Foster, Heather Warren, Ryan Carver, James Harvey, Christopher Harvey and Meghan Childress; and his brother-in-law Larry Hicks. He is also survived by 13 great grandchildren.
