It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Roger Chapman Sr. of Williamston, South Carolina, born in Pendleton, South Carolina, who passed away on January 1, 2024, at the age of 82, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Harrison and Edna Elizabeth Getsinger Chapman; and his brother David Getsinger. He is survived by: his wife Brenda Kay Goolsby Chapman; his sons, Derrell Chapman, Jr. (Julie) of Plum Branch, Jonathan Chapman (Jamie) of Pelzer and Michael Chapman (Liz) of Anderson; his siblings, Joseph Harrison "Joe" Chapman, Jr. (Gloria) of Brunswick, GA and Lynette Scott of Belton; and his grandchildren, J. D., Danielle, Amanda and Stephen Chapman. He is also survived by seven great-grandchildren.
