He was predeceased by: his wife Mary Drusilla Brazeal Capps; his parents, William Iler Capps and Mary Ione Pittman Capps; his daughter Susan Coker Ashley; his siblings, Margaret Brown, Mary Ann Capps, Helen Smith, Billy, Bobby, Henry and Ricky Capps; and his granddaughter Kimberly Jordan.
He is survived by: his children, Karen Jordan (Arthur) of Greenville, Carla Capps of Fountain Inn, David Capps of Inman and Philip Capps of Laurens; his siblings, Sylvia Browning of Pelzer, Jackie Roberts (Jimmy) of Antreville, Della Fay "Dot" Harrison of Williamston and Ronnie Capps (Donna) of Pelzer; and his grandchildren, Samuel Coker (Lydia) of Anderson, Amanda Jordan Trump (Chris) of Greenville and Holly Coker of Anderson. He is also survived by ten great-grandchildren.
