She is survived by: her spouse Lakon "Mutt" Newby; her daughters, Millie Harmon (Tim) of Williamston, Karen Saxon (Scott) of Williamston and Tracie Hawkins (Mark) of Williamston; her siblings, Sandra Teague of Williamston, Sarah Davis (Talmadge) of Williamston, James Ford (Doyce) of Piedmont and Sammy Ford (Dolly) of Williamston; and her grandchildren, Mary Catherine Saxon, Jay Saxon and Reed Hawkins.
