He was predeceased by: his parents, Burton Luther and Nannie Elizabeth Johnson Reece; and his sister Juanita Hindman. He is survived by: his wife Gladys Hiott Simpson Reece; his daughters, Teresa Hanley and Donna Strickland (James Strickland); his grandson Christopher Hanley of Anderson; and his niece Reatha Baldwin of Ninety Six.
