He was predeceased by: his wife Margaret Jeanette Jones Casey; his parents, Manson Jolly Casey, Sr. and Eva Ann Martin Casey; his children, James Edward Casey and Eva Ann Casey Taylor; his siblings, Joe Casey, Bobbie Culbertson and Ethel Hawkins; and his close friend Butch Rhodes.
He is survived by: his daughter Karen Ursry; his daughter-in-law Mary Casey of Williamston; his grandchildren, James Edward "Eddie" Casey (Dana) of Pelzer and Brandy Danielle Casey of Williamston; his great grandchild Matthew James Casey; his sister Shelba Ellison of Williamston; and his cousin Billy Martin. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
