He was predeceased by: his parents, Boyce Thomas and Inez Fields Lowe; his daughter Ann L. Pawate; his siblings, Gerald "Bud", Herbert "Hub", Henry, Wendall Lowe and Selma King; and his half-siblings, Johnny, Bratcher, May Wilson, Margie Murphy and Laura Ann Dyer.

He is survived by: his wife Martha Campbell Lowe; his son David A. Lowe (Joy) of Williamston; his grandchildren, Hillary, Matthew, Justin, Ashley and Austin; and his great grandchildren, Ethan, Anna, Parker and Wilson.

Due to Covid-19, it is suggested that masks be worn and social distancing observed.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Meals on Wheels of Anderson, P.O. Box 285, Anderson, SC 29622.
