He was predeceased by: his wife Miriam Shirley Rogers Davis; his parents, Robert Lamar and Janie Nell Strickland Davis; and his son-in-law Dan Patterson. He is survived by: his daughters, Donna Burroughs (Marc) of Williamston and Peggy Patterson of Easley; his brothers, Jimmy Davis of Williamston and Jerry Davis of Abbeville; his grandchildren, Drew Burroughs (Melissa), Nate Patterson, Andi Williams (Michael) and Ben Patterson (Meagan); and his great grandchildren, Miriam Williams, Skylar, Riley Burroughs, Livi, Addi Williams, Kinley and Beau Patterson.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Beaverdam Baptist Church Building Fund, 1904 Beaverdam Road, Williamston, SC 29697.
