He was predeceased by: his parents, Ashley Hiott, and Marie Kinard Hiott, Sr. of Bamburg, SC.; his wife Janice Z. Hiott; his son Earle Caine; and his siblings, Ashley Hiott, Jr., Carl Vernon Hiott, Grace Hiott Murphy and Helen Hiott Smith.
He is survived by: his daughters, Angela Koon (Reggie) of West Columbia, SC and Dana Leach (David) of Monticello, GA; his grandchildren, Lonnie Koon III (Marilyn), Lauren Brasington (James), Morgan Leach, Kelsey Leach, Amber Gee (Randall) and Crystal Caine; and his siblings, Nellie Hiott Roberson of Bamburg, SC, Shirley Hiott Pate (John) of Bamburg, SC, Peggy Hiott Greene (Barry) of Bamburg, SC, Judy Hiott Still (Tony) of Bamburg, SC and Harry Gene Hiott (Olivia) of Walterboro, SC. He is also survived by numerous great-grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, November 26th 2024 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Caughman-Harman Funeral Home - West Columbia Chapel (820 W Dunbar Rd, West Columbia, SC 29170). A graveside service will be held on Tuesday, November 26th 2024 at 12:00 PM at the Southland Memorial Gardens (700 W Dunbar Rd, West Columbia, SC 29170).
