She was predeceased by: her parents, Charlie McNutt and Dora Mae McNutt (Bates); her former husband Wayne Smith, Sr.; and her siblings, Mary Ledbetter (Allen), Bonnie Long and Willie Ann Allen.

She is survived by: her son Wayne Smith (Rhonda); her granddaughters, Joye Elizabeth Smith and Abigail Grace Smith; her siblings, Billie Sealy (Benny Frank), Sonny Pace, Paulette German, Marshall McNutt, Donald McNutt and Johnny McNutt (Charlotte); and also, Marshal and Donald. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
