He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, John Frederick Cope and Jemima Thames Cope Smith; his wife Mrytis Marie Winn Cope of Varnville; and his children, Don Cope of Hampton, Fred Cope of Varnville, Mary Ann Walling (Ralph) of Sumter and Marie Samoros (Thomas) of Greer.
