He was predeceased by: his father Byrtie Simmons; his siblings, B. J. Breland, Marcus Breland and Patricia Arlene Mixson; and his stepmother Lois Breland.
He is survived by: his mother Shirley Davis Simmons of Varnville; his wife Donna Marie Ginn Breland; his daughter Ashley B. Lerch of Nixville; his grandchildren, Jeremy Brian Lerch, Allison Nicole Lerch and Brayden Johnson Lerch; his brother Raymond Breland of Varnville; and his daughter Kayla Arlene. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews and cousins.
In consideration of the state and national emergency that currently exists with the coronavirus pandemic, and with the health and well-being of their friends and community in mind, funeral services will be held privately.
