She was predeceased by: her parents, Canie Chassereau and Tinnie Smith Chassereau; her husband Archie Lee Breland, Sr.; and her siblings, Smith of Oregon, Hoyt Chassereau, Harold Chassereau and Edna C. Hull.
She is survived by: her sons, Archie L. Breland, Jr. (Bobbie Rae) of Varnville and David W. Breland (Karen) of Varnville; her siblings, Rufus Chassereau of Estill, Eugene Chassereau of Dayton, Ohio, Ruby Avant of Brunson and Maude Harvey of Hampton; and her grandchildren, Bryan Breland (Ashley), Christopher A. Breland (Misti), Catherine Sheffield (Johnny) and Rachael Fennell (Craig). She is also survived by 11 great-grandchildren and 1 great, great-grandchild as well as many nieces and nephews.
