It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Bunny Dobson (Varnville, South Carolina), who passed away on May 8, 2020, at the age of 86, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Bunny Dobson to pay them a last tribute.
She was predeceased by: her parents, John Mack Johnson and Virginia Smith Johnson; and her son Carroll Wayne Dobson. She is survived by: her husband John Brantley "J. B."; her children, Michael Dobson (Susan) of Orangeburg, Kenny Dobson (Tammy) of Varnville and Brenda Brown of Varnville; her brothers, Olin Johnson of Ridgeland and Henry Johnson of Gillisonville; and her grandchildren, Erin Way (Mitch) of Lexington, Brian Dobson of Clemson, Dr. Jonathan Strickland of Varnville, Jeffrey Strickland of Varnville and Cassie Brown of Varnville.
In lieu of the situation that currently exists in the nation with the coronavirus pandemic, the family will hold a private graveside service Sunday at 3 PM in the Grimes Cemetery conducted by Elder Robert Dobson and directed by Peeples-Rhoden Funeral Home.
