With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Mary Ruth Jeffcoat of Swansea, South Carolina, who passed away on June 23, 2023 at the age of 79. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her husband Elvin Jeffcoat; and her parents, Tom Lee Chavis, Sr. and Leila Wingard Chavis. She is survived by: her children, Elvin Jeffcoat (Wanda), Eric Jeffcoat (Debbie), Sharon Taylor (Bruce) and Samantha Jeffcoat; and her niece Diane Ward. She is also survived by 8 grandchildren; 23 great-grandchildren; 1 great-great-grandchild.
