He was predeceased by: his parents, Laureston Chaney and Rosalea Mack Chaney; and his siblings, Mary Lea Chaney and Jimmy Chaney. He is survived by: his wife Ann Crim Chaney; his brother Leo Chaney (Sherrill); his aunt Gloria Mack; and his great-nephew Hayden Crim.
