It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Bobbie Sturkie Cassidy of Swansea, South Carolina, who passed away on November 17, 2022, at the age of 83, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Eugene Lee Sturkie and Lucille Hutto Sturkie; her brothers, Billy and Jimmy Sturkie; and her son Walter Mark Cassidy.
She is survived by: her husband Walter Royce Cassidy; her daughter Beth Cassidy Sadowski; her son-in-law Troy; her grandchildren, Kayla Jeffcoat (Justin), Zachary Sellers (Gabrielle) and Gabrielle Sadowski (Luke Watson); her great grandchildren, Jackson, Caroline Jeffcoat and Ethan Sellers; her brothers, Johnny Sturkie (Ruby) and Rudy Sturkie; and her siblings-in-law, R. L., Linda Cassidy, Billy, May Vaughn and Ruby Sturkie.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Swansea First Baptist Church.
