He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Thomas May and Majorie Knapp May; his wife Valerie James May of Surfside Beach; his daughters, Shellene Taylor (Mark) of Murrells Inlet and Caroline Crater of Myrtle Beach; his grandchildren, Rosemary, Maura, Jameson Taylor, Braxton, Jaxson and Blase Crater; and his sisters, Mary Ellen Hall, Carol Wagnor and Sally Fridley.
