She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, George Torrence and Irma Hopkins Torrence; her husband Bill Barrett; her siblings, Bishop, Dick, Mellie and Mary; her parents-in-law, Nell and Burns Peters; her children, Jim Barrett (Denise) of Heathsville, VA, Stephanie Miller (Bruce Thompson) of Woodbine, GA, Tina Barrett (Dan Friedman) of Scottsdale, AZ and Matt Barrett of Myrtle Beach, SC; her grandchildren, Casey, Nicole, Jon, Michelle (Omar), Bill and Stephen (Ali); her stepgrandchildren, Chris (Ally) and Sara; and her great grandchildren, Xiomara and Elliott. She was also cherished by several nieces, nephews and cousins; a large, loving, extended family and so many treasured friends.
