It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Kenneth Arthur Briggs of Surfside Beach, South Carolina, born in Framingham, Massachusetts, who passed away on April 2, 2022, at the age of 76, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, William J. Briggs and Helen Stevens Briggs; and his son Paul Joseph "P. J.". He is survived by: his wife Mary Catherine Briggs of Surfside Beach; his son Stephen Koplan; and his grandchildren, Tyson and Avery Koplan. He is also survived by his family and friends.

That same day Ken's brother was walking the neighborhood and paused to share his sorrow. We were in disbelief. This should have been an email to Ken razing him and his Caps. Ken was always so happy, so vibrant. The two of you were a joy to host on your visits to Cape Porpoise, not just guests but friends. Thank You for the treasured fond memories. John&Deb”
