It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Justin Matthew Lagana of Surfside Beach, South Carolina, who passed away on April 2, 2025, at the age of 42, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his grandparents, Pauline Stack, C. W. Stack, Selby W. Lagana, Sr. and Margaret Ann Lagana. He is survived by: his parents, George S. Lagana, Sr. of Surfside Beach, SC. and Cathy Anne Stack Lagana of Surfside Beach, SC.; his brother George Lagana, Jr. of Oak Grove, VA; his nephew Tyler R. Lagana of California, Maryland; and his pets, Roscoe and Kiki.

The family has requested that in lieu of flowers memorial donations be made in Justin's name to a charity of one's choice.

“I moved from NY to Carolina Ridge three years ago. Justin was the friendliest, helpful gentleman. When we had changes here I asked if he would still be with the Ridge and sadly, he said no. We all missed his presence and soft spoken ways. My puppy adored him and he was so gentle with her. Heaven just got an angel. My deep condolences to his family and his dear pets . RIP”
