She was predeceased by: her parents, Thomas Pigate and Bonnie Pigate; her son Kent Wade Hicks; her siblings, Sheron Heath and Durant Pigate; and her pet Hanna.
She is survived by: her daughters, Debra Celeste Souza of Murrells Inlet and Bonnie Stiles (Richard) of Murrells Inlet; her adoptive son Billy Jack Hanna; her grandchildren, Brandon Kent Souza (Felicia), Erica Navarro (Daniel) and Megan Schulz (Adam); and her great grandchildren, Dylan, Warren, Hazel, Emmett and Amelia. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
