She was predeceased by: her parents, Victor Leonard Martin and Anna Josephine McGowan Martin; her brother Leonard Martin; her brother-in-law Dale Allen; and her sister Patricia King.
She is survived by: her husband Jesse M. Hales of Surfside Beach; her children, Steven Henderson (Mary Beth) of Wilmington, NC, Kevin Hales (Sarah) of Charleston, SC, Sherri Henderson-Grant (Timothy) of Graham, NC, Colleen Lewis (Wayne) of Surfside Beach, Jessica Hales of Norfolk, VA and Melanie Raynor (Keith) of Naggs Head, NC; her goddaughter Kimberly Spurlock (Kenny) of Butler, KY; her siblings, Dennis Martin (Jill) of Batavia, OH, Joe Martin (Vickie) of Elsmer, KY, Kathleen Allen of Ft. Thomas, KY and Judy Reagan of Cincinnati, OH; her grandchildren, Allenisha Allen, Hunter Henderson (Taylor), Alexandra Caldwell (Anderson), Josie Thompson, Jake Raynor, Jesse Raynor, Bo Raynor, Walker Henderson, Ella Raynor, Stevie Henderson, Ava Raynor, Isabelle Lewis and George Hales; and her great grandchildren, Taneijah, Joslyn and Edwin.
The family has requested that memorial contributions be made to the Belin UMC Missions Fund in memory of Eileen Hales, PO Box 528, Murrells Inlet, SC 29576 and or to the Xi Alpha Chi, a women's organization of Beta Sigma Phi, 532 Wild Horse Court, Myrtle Beach, SC 29579.
