She was predeceased by: her parents, Dillard Lester Wright and Annie Lawson Wright; her husband Robert Louis Cate; and her siblings, Fred Wright, Lester Wright, Susie Wright Bramlett and Frances Wright Bumbalough.
She is survived by: her children, Ruth Lawson Cate (Charles White), Robert Louis Cate, Jr. (Karen) of Greer and Fred Harrison Cate (Beth) of Bloomington, Indiana; and her sister Patsy Wright Schwartz. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews.
